My seven-day hospitalisation for an intestinal blockage was one of the most challenging seasons I’ve ever faced. With countless drips, tests, and scans—and five days without food and water—I had no choice but to slow down, be still, and lean entirely on God.
In that forced stillness, He began to teach me.
- To look at every challenge through a positive lens.
What felt frightening and overwhelming became a space for God to reveal His strength. Instead of asking “Why me?”, He taught me to ask, “What is God shaping in me through this?” - Patience in the face of uncertainty.
There were long hours when anxiety threatened to rise and answers felt far away. But God reminded me that patience is not passive—it is active trust. It is believing that His timing is perfect even when circumstances are not.
With each passing day, His presence became my comfort, His peace my anchor, and His lessons my breakthrough.
When fear whispered, His presence calmed me.
When the nights felt long, His grace became my blanket.
When pain and uncertainty tested me, He taught me perseverance.
When I felt alone, He reminded me I was never abandoned.
What I thought would break me ended up shaping me.
What felt like a setback became a spiritual reset.
It was God’s boot camp—where faith was stretched, trust was deepened, and determination rebuilt from the inside out.
I walked in weak, but I walked out knowing this:
God is nearest in the moments when we have nothing else to hold on to.
